I am starting a new blog to share sermons, prayers, and thoughts from my desk at First Presbyterian Church, Quincy. I loved it when congregants began asking me to share sermon manuscripts, so I wanted to create a central place to find those. I also figured this would be a place to share prayers (from the service and elsewhere) and personal thoughts/reflections. While I started this with my congregation in mind, I hope this is a helpful resource for anyone who stumbles upon this blog.
A quick note: I’ll try to grammatically clean up my sermon manuscripts as best I can, but I write them with a “speaking” voice in mind. So, be aware of that if you are that person when it comes to grammar…
